Education partners
Echo Eternal benefits from a number of specialist advisory and delivery partners who provide advice, guidance, collaboration opportunities and in-kind support. For example, University College London provides essential advice and guidance to the project as a whole. It also provides mandatory training in Holocaust Education for all the participants.
Civic Partners
Civic Partners of Echo Eternal provide networks, thematic focus and training in support of the civic engagement strand of the project. The partners provide access to local and national community and social action campaigns. Participating schools are encouraged to gain accreditation and recognition for their work such as Refugee Welcome School Accreditation.
UK Holocaust Memorial Foundation
UKHMF was set up in 2015 to implement the recommendations of the Prime Minister’s Holocaust Commission, ensuring that the memory of the Holocaust and its lessons are preserved and remain current for future generations. Alongside its programme to record and preserve the testimony of Holocaust survivors, UKHMF is advising Government on the creation of a new national Holocaust Memorial and accompanying education centre next to the Palace of Westminster.
The Centre will contextualise the Memorial above and use the stories and facts of the Holocaust to explore hatred and prejudice.
